Visiting Nepal
While living in a fast city like London, it becomes really difficult to relax yourself. Life is very different in some of the small cities in not so developed countries like Nepal. That is exactly what I wanted to experience for this vacation. I was really impressed of the information about Nepal presented on an exhibition stand. I have been to Nepal once before, but I always wanted to go again. One of the best things about this place is the natural beauty. Being a part of the Himalayas, the country is full of beautiful landscapes. And if that is not enough, then everything over here is as cheap as it used to be some 50 years ago in London.
The weather over here is very pleasant. It never gets extremely hot like the nearby countries, for example India. Food is excellent. All the famous cuisines in the world can be found here and that to at a very low price. May it be Italian, French, English, American, Mongolian, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Arab, Spanish, Japanese etc, you will find them all over here. And trust me it’s really good and it is not just for name sake. In fact many of the restaurants around the world would have a couple of Nepalese in their kitchen. They are excellent with cooking.
The economy of Nepal is greatly dependant on tourism and this is one of the reasons why the current government is investing greatly in tourism. There is a lot that can be done to make the place better, but I am afraid this could take off the unusually slow life over here. Unfortunately, whenever a city is being developed it starts looking more like a concrete jungle. Well, I think it would be good to have regular electricity, but otherwise I think the country just looks fine.
